Internship Program

Each summer, AAI provides full-time employment to approximately 40 students at our Hunt Valley corporate headquarters. Students with engineering backgrounds work in a variety of technical programs, participating fully in the ongoing development of cutting-edge products while receiving support from seasoned engineers and program managers. Interns with communications, marketing, finance, and other non-technical backgrounds work in business development or business line support functions and are exposed to a range of roles and responsibilities.

Summer interns receive an orientation to the company and participate in select corporate training programs. In addition, interns have opportunities to socialize with students from a diverse group of more than 20 academic institutions.

Co-op Program

Throughout the year, AAI offers a small number of elite students the opportunity to work on either a full-time or a part-time basis at our Hunt Valley facility under the guidance of a senior manager. Co-ops are typically driven by the demands of our research and development programs, and they provide an immersive, longer term experience.
