AAI, Textron Systems and Textron Inc. provide extensive opportunities to acknowledge the valuable contributions of their employees.

 

For example, AAI sponsors service award programs to celebrate and recognize employees when they reach a significant service milestone. In addition, the company has developed peer-to-peer and manager-to-employee recognition programs. Both AAI and Textron sponsor a variety of volunteer and community service programs, supporting employees’ volunteer activities in local communities and going the “extra mile” in supporting our customers.

President’s Award of Excellence

This annual award is presented to a team or individual that exhibits outstanding performance and achievements well beyond expected job duties throughout the year. This award looks beyond quantitative performance factors, focusing on continuous improvements to further AAIs ability to attain our strategic business objectives; hence, guaranteeing the growth and prosperity of our organization.

 

Win Barr Award for Innovation

An individual or team using its creative skills and talents in the development of an innovative product, process, or service may be nominated for this annual award. Innovation is the discovery of a new idea that not only adds value but also includes the implementation of that idea. Innovations apply to both internal and external products, processes, and services.

 

Corporate Volunteer of the Year

This award is given annually to those who demonstrate outstanding volunteer involvement in the community and charitable organizations.

 

Value of Excellence Award

This quarterly award provides the opportunity for AAI to recognize teams or individuals who achieve above and beyond job duties.

 

Textron-Sponsored Programs

Kantrowitz Award for Innovation and Chairman’s Award for Innovation

These awards honor employees whose exemplary innovation have led to significant and measurable improvements in the company’s products, technology or business practices and contributed directly to Textron’s growth, profitability or competitive position. These awards are annual. Winners of the Textron Systems Kantrowitz Award are submitted as entrants for the prestigious Textron Inc. Chairman’s Award for Innovation, which is presented annually in two categories: “Products & Technology” and “Business Practices.”
